I was so very excited to see Plum Lucky on the shelves in time for St. Patrick's Day! It came in my Valentine's Day package from my parents, although apparently my Dad wanted to hijack it and read it before my Mom mailed it. Hehehe.
It was a fun read! I like Diesel, although I am kind of partial to Joe Morelli, truth be told. I think my favorite comment was Diesel's: "I'm not passive aggressive, I'm actively aggressive!" Haha.
I definitely always imagine Queen Latifa as Lula. She would be hilarious. I wish they would give Stephanie a chance to be a movie character. The movies would be silly fluff, maybe not even wide-release material, but they'd be fun! Or maybe she should be the title character of a TV miniseries. I think she'd be played by Sandra Bullock. I can never quite settle on actors for Morelli and Ranger, though. Hmm.

New book!
Mom sent me Plum Lucky by Janet Evanovich for Valentine's Day! Yay! I can't wait to read it. Thanks Mom!
Also, my secret pal bought me a book at the book fair! It's Painless Algebra, which was on my wish list. It's very cool and I will definitely be using it as we ratchet up our study of algebra for the rest of the school year.
I broke down and bought Painless Vocabulary right before the book fair ended, as well. It's awesome and I am thinking about using some of the word lists and activities in my classroom as well.
I'm still reading Allegiance. It's really good! It's just slow going because I'm so busy, and I've been a bit distracted by video games lately too. I am really enjoying the return to the original characters and storyline, complete with storm troopers and Han and Leia aggravating each other. This is even before they began to fall in love, and before Luke knows that he and Leia are siblings. Yay for awkward moments!
